The Vertica QuickStart for Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) is a sample ETL application that loads data from Vertica system tables to a data warehouse.The QuickStart requires a Vertica database, a Vertica JDBC driver, JDK 1.7 or above, and Pentaho Data Integration (either the Enterprise or the Community Edition). Instructions for installing and deploying the QuickStart on Linux or Windows are included in the download package.
