About the Event
MassMutual selected Vertica as their corporate Enterprise Data Warehouse in 2019. It was part of a three-year project to create a company-wide data platform for various internal customers. This presentation will describe MassMutual’s new and evolving end-to-end process for feeding batch and streaming data into Vertica, and providing fast analytics and reporting. With an Amazon S3 data lake, the solution provides machine learning to handle schema changes. Voltage supplies data encryption to comply with California state requirements. Learn how the IT organization resolves issues with data lineage, schema detection, and source reference integrity.
