CREATE NETWORK INTERFACE
Identifies a network interface to which a node belongs. Use this statement when you want to configure import/export operations from individual nodes to other Vertica clusters.
Syntax
CREATE NETWORK INTERFACE network‑interface‑name ON node‑name WITH 'node‑IP‑address'
network‑interface‑name |
The name you assign to the network interface, where network‑interface‑name conforms to conventions described in Identifiers. |
node‑name |
The name of the node. |
node‑IP‑address |
The node's IP address, either a public or private IP address. For more information, see Using Public and Private IP Networks. |
