If you’re a regular visitor to the vertica.com website, you’ve probably noticed a few changes to our blog recently.
The Vertica team is excited to launch our new and improved blog in order to help you, our audience, more easily navigate posts, explore specific areas of interest, and follow your favorite contributors. Same great content; new look and feel.
Here are a few tips to help you navigate this new area of our website:
- Clearing Browser Cache. If the blog looks messy, with text showing up where it doesn’t belong or images appearing out of whack, don’t worry, you’re not in the twilight zone. Clearing your browser’s cache should get the webpages back to normal.
- Navigating Blog Categories. At the top of the blog you’ll find six high-level categories of blog content: Events, Industry Trends, Integrations, Product Releases, Quick Tips, and Under the Hood. These categories are designed to help you quickly navigate to the types of blogs most relevant to you. Looking for the latest quick tips from Jim Knicely? Interested in the latest product release content? Click on the category you’re most interested in to see all of the relevant posts.
- Utilizing Search. These six high-level categories are not the only way to navigate content. Use the search bar at the top of the Blog to identify blog posts using specific keywords or phrases. Simply type the word or phrase you’re looking for, and the search function will filter all relevant blog posts.
- Identifying Blog Topics. Additionally, each blog post is ‘tagged’ with certain keywords to help you identify key topics within that post, such as Machine Learning, Eon Mode, Projections and more. Clicking on a topic (within each post or from the list of topics on the blog homepage) will reveal all posts tagged by that topic.
