The Accredited Technical Professional (ATP) level exam is targeted at HP Vertica system administrators, database analysts, and application developers.
Prior to taking the exam, applicants are expected to have completed HP Vertica Essentials training or equivalent self-directed study, plus 3 to 6 months of production-level experience with Vertica.
HP2-N45 Vertica Big Data Solutions Administrator
This exam is now available when purchased using a credit card or PayPal with a US address. Other locations will be added at a later date.
The Accredited Solutions Expert (ASE) exam is for HP Vertica DBAs, partners, and HP employees who perform advanced administrative tasks like analyzing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, tuning and optimizing Vertica performance. This exam is open only to those who first take and pass a lab portion administered and scored by HP Vertica.
This certification is intended for HP Vertica DBAs, and IT professionals who have attended the Advanced Performance Tuning course, or have equivalent knowledge, with intermediate experience (1+ years) administering the HP Vertica Analytics Platform. They must be familiar with basic operational tasks like running queries, monitoring usage, and loading data; they must also be familiar with our system tables.
