New Product: Vertica 2.5 Available – Get it Now…
If you previously considered Vertica but are not yet using it, you might want to come back and take another look. Vertica 2.5 has been enhanced with greatly expanded support for SQL and the ability to implement any schema design, which makes it possible for Vertica to meet a much wider variety of analytic workload requirements.
Major new features include:
- Expanded SQL support, with nested sub-queries, new SQL joins, SQL functions and more
- Ability to support any type of schema design
- Query routing to ease migration from or co-existence with other data warehouses
- Support for hot backups, event monitoring, database profiling and multi-tenant databases
